AFTER continuing with his showbiz commitments and attending to his various businesses during the year despite the pandemic, Robi Domingo also had a lot of time to reflect and learn more about himself and his views about his country. “Naging mas matured about things and siguro if I have to categorize all of my learnings, I learned to be more involved. Not just in my community pero in everything. Even in different spheres, there’s finances, there’s politics, ang dami eh.
“What I learned is you don’t have to be a politician to care about your country. You have to be a citizen and right now, we are forced to go into our houses to watch news on television and before we didn’t have that luxury of time kasi palagi akong kayod ng kayod, gipit na gipit kasi ako eh. Trabaho ng trabaho. But right now, binigyan tayo ng pause, sinabi sa iyo ito ‘yung mga nangyayari sa buhay, it was not a great equalizer but it was a great magnifier of what’s happening right now. And the only thing na nakikita kong light dito is nakita ng buong tao, ng buong sambayanan and we should we could do and we should do something about it,” he explained.(Push)
