BACOLOD City – A man was believed to have committed suicide in Hacienda Lamak, Barangay Tiglawigan, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
The 59-year-old Jose Ricarte Gonzales was found dead hanging inside his bedroom with a rope tied around his neck around 8 a.m. on Thursday, a police report showed.
Gonzales had personal problems, police said.
According to his relatives, they heard a loud thud inside Gonzales’ room around 7 p.m. on Wednesday but they ignored it.
Gonzales’ body was now at a local mortuary in Cadiz City.
It was not immediately clear if foul play was ruled out in the death./PN
