ROXAS City – The city council here, through a resolution, approved a supplemental budget for the city’s priority development projects.
In its recent regular session, the city council heeded the request of Mayor Ronnie Dadivas and the City Development Council to pass a resolution allotting P230,409,805 for various development programs.
“Ini nga mga programa ginalakipan sang nakalinyada na nga People’s Park Redevelopment sa Baybay, padayon nga pagpakay-o sang Teodoro Arcenas Trade Center (TATC), pagpahamtang sang Bagsakan Center sa merkado, subong man ang pagtukod sang Emergency Operations Center para sa malapad nga monitoring kag madasig nga pagresponde sa mga emergency cases kag kalamidad,” said Dadivas.
Of the figure, P31 million is allocated for the TATC – the city’s public market – which is currently undergoing rehabilitation.
Meanwhile, P20,109,876 goes to the local disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM) fund of the city.
The rehabilitation of the People’s Park in Barangay Baybay, on the other hand, gets an allocation of P12,327,285 while the construction of TATC Bagsakan Center has a P31 million budget./PN
