ROXAS City – The Department of Education (DepEd) Regional Office VI recognized the Roxas City Government’s invaluable support in advancing the programs and initiatives of the agency.
Dr. Ramir Uytico, director of DepEd Region 6, led the awarding of a plaque of recognition to the city government under the leadership of Mayor Ronnie Dadivas during the Regional Stakeholders Appreciation Program held in Iloilo City on Friday, February 7.
“Plaque of Recognition is presented to City Government of Roxas in deep appreciation of the invaluable support in advancing the programs and initiatives of the Department of Education Region VI that played a vital role in producing more Champions in the Region,” read the plaque received by Roxas City’s Administrator Love Usison on behalf of Mayor Dadivas.
The city mayor, meanwhile, expressed elation over the said recognition.
“Ang Roxas City Government nakabaton sang pagkilala halin sa Department of Education Regional Office 6... Ini pagkilala sa daku nga bulig kag suporta sang gobyerno sang syudad sa mga programa kag inisyatibo sang DepEd agud mas mapaayo ang kalidad sang edukasyon sa Roxas City kag sa rehiyon,” Mayor Dadivas said.
Also present during the program were DepEd Assistant Secretary Cilette Liboro Co and DepEd-6 OIC regional director Dr. Miguel Mac Aposin./PN
