Roxas City gov’t taps local artists to beautify bridges

ROXAS City – The city government has launched the project “Kulay Tulay” to beautify bridges across the city.

“We will be painting bridges starting with the Tiza Bridge,” said Mayor Ronnie Dadivas.

Kulay Tulay taps the creativity of the city’s artists to add beauty and color to the metro amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Recently, paint company Davies Paints, represented by Lindsey Barbasa, turned over their initial sponsorship of 128 gallons of paint.

Present during the turnover were Maru Alayon, representing the Roxas City artist groups; Atty. Remia Fuentes, representing FCU Alumni Association; City Administrator Love Usison, and Cheryl Anne del Rosario of the Ang Panublion Museum as project head.

The Kulay Tulay project is in partnership with the Filamer Christian University (FCU) Alumni Association, Davies Paints and local artists./PN
