ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Various political groups and their respective candidates for the upcoming May 9, 2022 elections in this city joined yesterday’s launching of Safe, Accurate, Free, and Fair Elections (SAFE).
A Philippine National Police (PNP)-led the multi-sectoral campaign, SAFE aims to ensure clean and peaceful elections in Roxas City. The PNP is in partnership with the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and Commission on Elections (Comelec) for this endeavor.
The activity includes a Holy mass, candle lighting, and unity walk.
The candidates also signed a covenant for peaceful, fair, and honest elections. The event was also participated by the political bets’ supporters.
Team Upod Kita of Roxas City Mayor Ronnie Dadivas and his allies are among those who joined the unity walk and peace covent.
“Handum naton ang matawhay nga sahi sang eleksyon kag malikawan ang komplikto nga mahimu tugahon sang mahigku, mapanamad, kag malisyoso nga klase sang pagpangampanya,” said Dadivas./PN
