Roxas City passes Good Financial Housekeeping standards

ROXAS City – For the sixth consecutive year, this city passed the Department of Interior and Local Government’s (DILG) Good Financial Housekeeping (GFH) for 2024.

Mayor Ronnie Dadivas was elated of the city’s achievement since 2019.

Ginakalipay ko nga ibalita sa inyo nga ang Roxas City Government pasado na naman sa DILG Seal of Good Financial Housekeeping. Nagapabilin nga consistent ang syudad sa bug-os nga Pilipinas nga nangin passer sang GFH humalin sang 2019 tubtob 2024,” the city mayor said.

Good Financial Housekeeping recognizes local government units (LGUs) that are fiscally transparent and accountable.

For the 2024 assessment, the criteria include the following:

* most recent Commission on Audit (COA) Audit opinion must be qualified or unqualified, based on the annual audit report posted on the COA website as of September 27, 2024; and

* compliance with the requirements of Full Disclosure Policy for the second to fourth quarters of 2023 and first quarter of 2024.
