ROXAS City – A total of 183 out 188 personnel of the police station here were recently subjected to an unannounced random drug test.

All of them tested negative for illegal drugs, said Police Lieutenant Colonel Aron Palomo, police station chief.

Palomo also took the test and passed it.

“Drug-free environment ang aton police station kag ang aton kapulisan,” Palomo told Panay News.

The drug testing was an initiative of the City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC).

“Bilang law enforcers, wala kita bahid or higko sang illegal drugs. Gani proud kita nga gaserbisyo kag ga-enforce sang laws pertaining sa drugs,” said Palomo.

It was also CADAC that funded the drug testing, with the support of the city government and City Health Office./PN
