ROXAS CITY – This city is nearing reaching herd immunity against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) with 78. 93 percent of its total target population is already vaccinated.
Data from the Roxas City Health Office (CHO) showed that as of Jan. 10, 2022, of the 126,046 target population of the city, 99,492 have already been fully vaccinated or had their second dose.
Meantime, city residents who received their first dose have reached 124,633 or 98.88 percent of the target population while 5,659 already got their booster shots.
The city’s vaccination against COVID-19 has been ongoing at the five vaccination sites such as Dinggoy Roxas Civic Center, Banica Elementary School, Milibili Covered Gym, Punta Cogon Covered Gym, and Sibaguan New Barangay Hall.
