ROXAS City – Student-athletes from this city who won medals in the Western Visayas Regional Athletics Association (WVRAA) Meet 2025 received cash incentives from the Roxas City Government.
Mayor Ronnie Dadivas led the distribution of incentives along with Vice Mayor Inday Teresa Almalbis to eight gold, 24 silver and 53 bronze medalists.
“Ang aton suporta sa aton mga atleta nga nagahatag dungog sa aton syudad wala untat. Bilang pagpasalamat kag pagpanginbulahan sa delegasyon sang Roxas City Division nga nagpasakup sa Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association Meet 2025, naghatag kita sang subsidy/allowance kag insentibo sa tanan nga atleta kag coaches,” Mayor Dadivas said.
Meanwhile, Iloilo province clinched the overall championship in the WVRAA Meet 2025 held in Antique province from March 2 to 7 after its dominance in the secondary level and paragames.
