Roxas City’s BLT Kitchen serves CICLs

ROXAS City – The city-run Busog Lusog Talino (BLT) Central Kitchen has also started serving residents of the Roxas City Crisis Center here particularly rescued abused children and Children-in-Conflict with the Law (CICLs).

Starting Tuesday, for one month, the BLT Kitchen will serve hot meals to the youngster residents of the center.

This is upon the directive of Roxas City Mayor Ronnie Dadivas.

To note, the BLT Kitchen has been of service to the pupils enrolled in identified Day Care Centers in the city and to the evacuees in various evacuation sites during calamities.

The crisis center or the Puloy-an sang Pagpalangga has been home to children who were victims of abuse and those who are CICLs.

Currently, the center has around 15 residents being catered to and cared for, according to Roxas City Communications Group head Melvin Galagate. /PN
