ROXAS City – The Roxas City Diagnostic and Laboratory Center (RCDLC) also passed with flying colors the assessment of the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine (RITM).
The city’s laboratory center got a perfect score of 10/10 in the 2021 External Quality Assurance Program (EQA) Post Accreditation for the Real-Time PCR Detection of SARS COV-2.
The facility also successfully performed the following test procedures:
* Nucleic Acid Extraction
* PCR Mastermix Preparation
* Real Tine RT-PCR
* Interpretation of RT-PCR results
* RT-PCR results reporting
Mayor Ronnie Dadivas thanked the personnel and staff of the facility for their sacrifice and commitment in providing fast, reliable and efficient service to the people of Roxas.
Aside from RCDLC, the Roxas Provincial Memorial Provincial Hospital Outpatient Molecular Laboratory also got a 100 percent passing rate./PN
