Roxas City’s COVID-19 situation improves

ROXAS City – All the 92 healthcare workers here who contracted coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have recovered, according to the City Health Office (CHO). 

Also, there were no more active COVID-19 cases involving Repatriated Overseas Filipinos (ROFs), Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs), and Authorized Persons Outside of Residence (APOR).

As of Jan. 7, there were only eight active cases of COVID-19 left in this city and of these, six were local cases while two were frontliners.

Only six barangays here have active cases, too. These were barangays Tiza with three cases and one case each in barangays 10, Tanque, Dinginan, Lanot, and Mongpong.

Roxas City had a total of 646 cumulative confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of Jan. 7 and of these, 601 recovered.
