ROXAS City – The City Development Council (CDC) approved this year’s Supplemental Investment Program (SIP) fund of P479.2 million.
The SIP fund, sourced from the city’s savings, will be used for high-impact projects.
These projects include, among others, rice subsidy for city residents, construction of New Roxas City Hall and Government Complex in Pueblo De Panay; Dinggoy Roxas Civic Center redevelopment; Libas Fishing Port redevelopment; People’s Park redevelopment phase II; redevelopment/construction/rehabilitation of the city’s public market; Road Network Development, improvement of the City Health Office and establishment of Health Complex; construction of Riverside Promenade, dredging and desiltation of Panay River; establishment of Technology-Based Treatment Facility for Sanitary Landfill; rehabilitation of Materials Recovery Facility and Sanitary Landfill; and salary increase of the city government employees.
“Bangud sa aton pagkinot nakatipon kita sang daku nga savings gani indi na kinahanglan nga mag-loan pa kita,” said Mayor Ronnie Dadivas.
The CDC also approved the fund for programs under the Local Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office./PN
