ROXAS City – A 42-year old father was shot dead by motorcycle-riding gunmen in Sitio Switch, Barangay Adlawan here.
Regie Gacol of the same barangay was attacked around 6:35 p.m. on Dec. 6.
He was walking to a sari-sari store a few meters away from his house when blocked by two men on a motorcycle then shot several times on the face and chest, police said.
Family members took Gacol to the Capiz Doctors Hospital where doctors pronounced him “dead on arrival”.
Prior to the shooting, according to residents in Gacol’s neighborhood, a motorcycle kept coming back in their area.
Police investigation is ongoing. No suspect has so far been identified./PN
