Saab talks about anxiety, recalls traumatic first birthing experience

SAAB Magalona revealed how she’s feeling after passing the 31-week pregnancy mark for her second baby.

“I’m now 31 weeks pregnant!” Saab shared in an Instagram post. “I had to deal with so much anxiety nearing my 30 weeks of pregnancy because my traumatic birthing experience the first time around was when my baby girl (Pancho’s twin) lost her heartbeat at 30 weeks and 6 days. We had to do an emergency C-section to save our baby boy. Both Pancho and I almost didn’t make it because of complications. He stayed in the NICU for 2 months, I was in and out of the ICU for over a week. All of this happened so quickly. Too quickly.”

She also gave a touching and inspiring message for those who may be postponing plans out of fear and anxiety.

“Life is very short,” she said. “Going past the dreaded 30 weeks and six days is a milestone for our family. I just wanted to share this with you in case you’re putting off something very important to you just because you’re scared. Do it now and be grateful that you still can.”

Saab uncovered her first pregnancy in September 2017, wherein she gave an update on expecting twins; a boy and a girl.

To honor their late daughter, she and Jim started a foundation with their family called the Luna Isabel Magalona-Bacarro Memorial Fund, along with their first project with a non-profit, non-stock organization that helps hospitalized children with cancer and other critical illnesses. (Cosmo.ph)
