BACOLOD City – Three men were arrested in two separate drug entrapment operations in Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
One of them was the 54-year-old Rene “Wawee” Diocson, said Sagay City police head Chief Inspector Robert Mansueto.
Diocson was caught in Purok Manzanilla, Barangay Old Sagay around 4 p.m. on Saturday after he sold suspected shabu to an undercover police officer for P300.
Recovered from Dioscon’s possession were a total of three sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P1,200, police said.
The two other suspects – brothers George Dulce, 32, and Rodel Dulce, 34 – were arrested around 5 p.m. on the same day in Purok Green Hills, Barangay Paraiso, a police report showed.
Recovered from their possession were suspected shabu valued at around P7,000 and P500 marked money used in the sting operation.
Diocson and the Dulces were detained in the lockup cell of the Sagay City police station. They were all facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
