BACOLOD City – Police nabbed a man charged with illegal fishing in Barangay Vito, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
Resident Alex Brillantes, 48, was caught around 9:55 a.m. on Aug. 13, police said.
Brillantes’ apprehension was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Biena Marietta Cabusao of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities in Sagay City dated Aug. 12, 2020.
The suspect was taken to the Sagay City police station.
The court recommended a P12,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
