BACOLOD City – A Grade 11 student of Universal School of Applied Technology in Sagay City, Negros Occidental died.
Dayap Romagos was electrocuted after touching a Northern Negros Electric Cooperative line atop their house while cleaning around 10 a.m. yesterday in Sitio Kinalumsan, Barangay I (Poblacion), police said.
The 18-year-old electronics student was taken to the Lopez District Planters Foundation Hospital, also in Sagay, but was declared “dead on arrival.”
Police were investigating if there was negligence on the part of the electric cooperative./PN
