BACOLOD City – A man accused of six counts of rape was arrested along the national highway in Barangay Poblacion, Sagay City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
The 49-year-old Rogelio Baylon of Barangay Bulanon, Sagay City was nabbed on the strength of an arrest warrant on Sunday, the report added.
Officers from the Sagay City police station staged the apprehension.
The warrant was issued by the Regional Trial Court in relation to the rape charges that Baylon faces.
Baylon was detained in the lockup cell of the Sagay City police station.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
