BACOLOD City – A man was found dead in Barangay Paraiso, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
The 55-year-old resident Roberto Du-ay was believed to have died due to stroke, police said.
Du-ay’s lifeless body was discovered in grassy area around 4 p.m. on May 19, the police added.
According to police investigators, Du-ay asked permission from his sister Angeles that the former will join a drinking session with friends prior to the incident.
Emergency responders did not find any wounds on Du-ay’s body suggestive of murder.
His body was brought to a local mortuary for a “post-mortem” examination.
As of this writing, officers of the Sagay City police station have yet to rule out foul play in the incident./PN
