BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Poblacion 1, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
Thirty-five-year-old Alex Martin Belonio yielded three sachets of suspected shabu valued at around of P1,500, a police report showed.
Belonio was nabbed after he sold suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P500 around 10:15 p.m. on Saturday, the report added.
Police also impounded his Honda Click motorcycle.
Belonio was detained in the Sagay City police station’s custodial facility.
He was facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
