TICKETS for the out-of-town PBA Philippine Cup match between San Miguel Beermen and TNT KaTropa at the University of San Agustin gym in Iloilo City on Jan. 13 will be sold starting today.
Selling will start at 9:30 a.m. at the Toyota branch on Sen. Benigno Aquino Jr. Avenue, or Diversion Road, said Bayani Landrido, event operation head.
Tickets will also be sold at the Toyota main office in Jaro district during office hours starting tomorrow.
“For those who wish to purchase their tickets early, they can do so starting Sunday,” Landrido told Panay News. “We will release other areas where they can buy tickets in the days to come.”
Tickets were priced at P400 for General Admission, P800 for Balcony, P1,500 for Ring Side, P2,500 for Ring Side A, P2,500 for Courtside, and P3,000 for Courtside C and D, said the event head.
Event sponsors Fanny and Juanito Uy Foundation and Toyota-Iloilo decided to keep the ticket prices similar to the ones for the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Kings-Meralco Bolts match last year, Landrido said.
“This is our simple way of bringing great basketball to our fellow Ilonggos,” he said.
This will be the second official PBA game in Iloilo City in the last two years.
In the game on Jan. 14 this year, also at the San Agustin gym, Kings defeated Bolts 83-72./PN
