TAEKWONDO jins from San Carlos Taekwondo Falcon Maroons showed their class during the 2019 Panaad Sports Feast Taekwondo Championships held over the weekend at Panaad Park and Stadium in Bacolod City.
Ju-an Jin Requina delivered a gold medal in the elementary girls division kyorugi event under 23 kilograms (kg), while Thaña Gordove won a silver in girls 30 to 38 kg and Mark Isiah Cadayona had a bronze medal in boys 30 to 38 kg.
In the cadet kyorugi division, Angel Mae Lumanog delivered gold in girls’ 30 to 38 kg, Niña Faith Verdeflor had silver in girls’ 51 to 55 kg and Reina Mae Moreño also won silver in juniors 48 to 51 kg.
Angel Supangan, meanwhile, took home a bronze medal in juniors 51 to 55 kg, Prince Gail Arnado also had bronze in boys 45 to 48 kg same with Mhel Angelo Tagpuno in boys’ 50 to 54 kg.
San Carlos jins settled for bronze medal finishes in poomsae events with John Martin Artajo placing third in elementary division single A and James Dwayne Seldura at second runner-up in cadet single A.
Wenzy Leoren Chavez and James Dwayne Seldura captured bronze in cadet mixed pair poomsae event, while Jade Mariz Seldura also grabbed bronze in juniors single A event./PN
