San Jose local stabbed to death

SAN JOSE, Antique – A 40-year-old man was stabbed to death by a motorcycle-riding suspect in Purok Pigado, Barangay 8 in this capital town.

Police identified the victim as Charlie Nemil, who sustained stab wounds on the different parts of the body.

Nemil – who temporarily resides in Barangay 8 – was allegedly stabbed by an unidentified suspect using an ice pick around 9:30 p.m. on June 6, police said.

He was brought to a hospital in San Jose, Antique where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”

It was immediately established what was the motive in the stabbing.

Officers of the San Jose municipal police station have yet to identify the suspect, who fled after the incident./PN
