ANTIQUE – A 29-year-old drug suspect was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Madrangca, San Jose de Buenavista town.
Alias “Boyo,” a resident of the aforementioned barangay, was caught by joint operatives of the Antique Police Provincial Office’s Drug Enforcement Unit, San Jose Municipal Police Station (MPS) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Antique around 10:17 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4.
Authorities confiscated four grams of suspected shabu valued at around P26,000, P1,500 in buy-bust money and non-drug-related items.
The suspect was taken into custody by the San Jose MPS.
He is facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
