ANTIQUE – A 38-year-old man was stabbed to death in a wake past 12:45 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, in Sitio Igbiri, Barangay Bugo, San Remigio.
The victim was Richard Aquino, 38, a farmer and a resident of the said barangay, while the suspect was Jose Lomer Fordan, 29, a laborer and resident of Barangay Funda Dalipe in San Jose de Buenavista town.
An investigation by the San Remigio police revealed that the victim was playing cards with his neighbor and friends when the suspect suddenly came and stabbed the victim in different parts of his body without any apparent reason.
As of writing, authorities are conducting a hot pursuit operation against the suspect./PN
