Sanchez is new PCL-Antique prexy

ANTIQUE – Sangguniang Bayan (SB) member Plaridel E. Sanchez IV of Pandan town here has been formally sworn in as the new president of the Philippine Councilors League

(PCL)-Antique chapter.

Vice Governor Edgar Denosta administered Sanchez’ oath last September 5.

Sanchez succeeded outgoing PCL-Antique president and SB member Julius Cezar Tajanlangit of Tobias Fornier.

The new PCL-Antique president garnered 130 votes out of 176 SB members during an election held last September 1 in San Jose de Buenavista town. His rival, SB member Chris John Banusing of San Jose, only got 46 votes.

Sanchez, who deemed his victory as “overwhelming,” assured that he will be consultative and

will address concerns raised by councilors during the previous administration.

Here is the complete set of officers of PCL-Antique for 2022 to 2025:

* President – Plaridel E. Sanchez IV of Pandan

* Vice President – Ricky Lavega of Caluya

* Secretary – Jezel Martinez of Laua-an

* Treasurer – May Jaquelyn Otadoy of Valderrama

* Auditor – Noel Dimafiles of Sebaste

* PRO – Roberto Dioso, Jr. of Valderrama

* Business Manager – John Ralph Asoy of Laua-an

Members of the board are the following: Eva Pacificader, Joey Molina, Rodolfo Medina, Ma.

Orchid Fornier, Reymond Nabalan, Arvin Salmite, Felino Gauran, and Dindo John Lignig.

Sanchez will also sit as ex-officio member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan representing the

municipal councilors./PN
