ILOILO City – A 21-year-old man allegedly stole four pairs of sandals being sold at the public plaza in Jaro district.
James Tupayan of Barangay Fajardo, also in Jaro, was detained in the district police station lockup cell.
He was arrested around 3 p.m. on Tuesday. The sandals he allegedly stole from a kiosk were worth P120 a pair.
Tupayan denied stealing the footwear./PN
