ILOILO City – Two brothers were caught in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Cabugao Sur, Santa Barbara, Iloilo.
Jonathan Alanes, 43, and younger brother Sandy, 40, sold a pack of shabu to an undercover police officer.
They ranked No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, in the Santa Barbara police’s watch list of drug personalities.
Both residents of Barangay Cabugao Sur, the suspects further yielded five sachets of shabu, a digital weighing scale and P650 cash.
Police staged the operation around 9:15 a.m. yesterday.
The Alaneses were hauled to the Santa Barbara police station lockup cell./PN
