BILLBOARD’S Women in Music celebration is just around the corner and Filipina pop superstar Sarah Geronimo has just been included in the list of honorees.
Billboard Philippines will honor Geronimo with the Global Force award at the Billboard’s Women in Music Los Angeles event on March 6.
Retweeting the post from Billboard Philippines X account on Saturday, Feb. 24, Geronimo expressed her gratitude for the recognition and dedicated the award to all Filipino dreamers.
“Honored and grateful to be one of the recipients of Billboard’s Global Force Award. This recognition belongs to every dreamer and amazing Filipino artist we have. Mabuhay ang OPM! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas! Maraming salamat, Billboard PH!!” she said.
Geronimo is joined by 12 other women in the music industry at the annual event. Karol G is this year’s Woman of the Year.
Charli XCX, Ice Spice, Newjeans, and Kylie Minogue are among the other honorees.
The event will be held at the YouTube Theater and can be watched through Billboard’s website a day after the awards show. (ABS-CBN News)
