SARAH Lahbati appealed on Wednesday to her followers on social media, asking them to pray for her mother’s health.
The actress posted a photo showing her hugging her mother, who “vomited blood” after a drowning incident in Siargao, at a hospital.
“Please continue praying for my mama. She’s finally back in Manila but her lungs are infected from the drowning yesterday and she is still in pain from the loss of blood when she vomited.”
“She has fever, no energy and no appetite . . . Lord please heal her. Please. Please pray for her,” Lahbati wrote.
The incident happened Tuesday, with Lahbati revealing that her mother had been taking swimming lessons.
She described her mom as a “good” swimmer, but added that the currents that day “were too strong and she drowned.”
“I’ve been crying and shaking. This has never happened before,” she shared to her followers. (ABS-CBN News)
