SARAH Geronimo got the stamp of approval from Autism Society Philippines for her performance in the movie “Unforgettable.”
The singer-actress was praised for doing “a wonderful job of portraying autism on screen.”
“She captured their unwavering loyalty, singularity of purpose, and the depths of their distress! She met with young adults on the spectrum in preparing for her role. Teacher Cecile Sicam, co-founder of the Autism Society Philippines, served as a consultant during filming,” read the post on the Facebook page of Autism Society Philippines.
The non-profit organization also thanked the people behind the movie for giving a “gift to the autism advocacy community.”
Geronimo stars with a dog named Milo in “Unforgettable,” that had opened in theaters last Oct. 23. (ABS-CBN)
