CAPIZ – The officials and staff of the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Capiz welcomed their new schools division superintendent.
Dr. Roel F. Bermejo, CESO V, officially assumed office on January 10, replacing Dr. Miguel Mac D. Aposin, CESO V, who was promoted as the officer-in-charge of the Office of the Assistant Regional Director of the Department of Education (DepEd) Region 6.
Gov. Fredenil Castro also welcomed Bermejo and the new schools division superintendent of SDO-Roxas City on January 10 at the Capiz Provincial Capitol.
Meanwhile, SDO Capiz’s Human Resource Development (HRD) Unit received the Top 2 Highest Number of Recognized Professional Development Program National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP) and HRD Implementer Champion Award during the Human Resource Development Program Implementation Review and Planning Workshop on January 11.
The awardees for HRD Implementer Champion were Dr. Immaculada Amores, HRD Senior Education Program Specialist, and Jerry Mosquite, HRD Education Program Specialist II./PN
