CAPIZ – Police arrested a security guard for alleged indiscriminate firing around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, in Barangay Rosario, Pilar in this province.
The suspect was identified as Leomy Bartiso, 47, a resident of the aforementioned barangay.
According to the Pilar Municipal Police Station (MPS), they received a report from a resident who allegedly heard a gunshot.
Police immediately responded to the scene and caught Bartiso holding the gun.
Seized from him was a Smith and Wesson caliber Magnum .357 revolver, one caliber .38 bullet, and one fired cartridge case of a caliber .38.
The security guard was taken into custody by the Pilar MPS for proper disposition./PN
