ILOILO City – The dead man found in Barangay Navais, Mandurriao district on Wednesday has finally been identified.
He was JR Porras, 29, a security guard detailed at Valiant Enterprise.
A resident of Nueva Valencia, Guimaras, Porras was temporarily residing in Barangay Bakhaw, Mandurriao.
Lemuel Porras, 29, positively identified his brother.
The security guard’s live-partner, Grace Prias, 24, of San Enrique, Iloilo also identified him.
Porras was found dead around 7 a.m. on Wednesday floating in a fishpond.
There were scratches on his body.
