BACOLOD City – His fellow security guard found him dead with gunshot wounds on the body at the AALCPI compound in Barangay Roberto S. Benedicton (RSB), La Carlota City, Negros Occidental, police said.
The 27-year-old Mark Locsin of Barangay 1, La Carlota City was pronounced “dead on arrival” at the Don Salvador Benedicto Memorial District Hospital.
His body was found around 1:40 a.m. on Tuesday by the 40-year-old Barangay RSB resident Lemuel Bendicio while the latter was patrolling around the compound, a police report showed.
Bendicio told the police that he heard two gunshots from the lobby area where Locsin was last seen alive.
Bendicio then hid inside the comfort room and peeped through the window, seeing Locsin lying on the concrete stairway of the lobby.
He added that he did not see anyone who might have shot Locsin.
Police were still investigating the incident./PN
