BACOLOD City – A security guard was found dead inside a building where he was working in Barangay Singcang-Airport.
Police identified him as Eleazar Bayoneta, 58, of Barangay Punta Mesa, Manapla, Negros Occidental. Bayoneta’s lifeless body was found inside the comfort room around 8:30 a.m. on May 4.
According to police investigators, the security guard was on his night shift duty before the incident.
He was also suffering from hypertension, police said.
Bayoneta’s cadaver was brought to a local mortuary for a “post-mortem” examination.
As of this writing, officers of Police Station 8 have yet to rule out foul play in the incident./PN
