ILOILO City – In Barangay Bacagay, San Dionisio, Iloilo a 75-year-old man was arrested for soliciting bets for an illegal numbers game, police said.
Ricardo Balaynon was detained at the municipal police station around 4 p.m. on April 11.
Recovered from Balaynon were a pen, betting slips with various number combinations and P540 cash.
If found guilty by the court, Balaynon faces imprisonment from eight years and one day to 10 years.
