ILOILO City – A vehicular accident in Barangay Barosbos, Carles, Iloilo on Wednesday left a 67-year-old resident dead.
According to investigators, the car that Jose Maria Alvarez was driving suddenly veered, crashing against a pickup running the opposite direction.
He was rushed to the Jesus Colmenares District Hospital in Balasan town. He died there.
Police said Alvarez may have suffered a heart attack while driving.
On the other hand, the pickup driver was Lenin Lobaton, 60, of Barangay Poblacion, Carles, Iloilo. He was unharmed./PN
