BACOLOD City – A 69-year-old man was found dead near a waiting shed in Purok Eucalyptus, Barangay Calumangan, Bago City.
Ernesto De Leon Vergara was a resident of the village, said Superintendent David Cachumbo Jr., Bago City police chief. Around 9 a.m. on Jan. 6, residents found his body on a grassy area.
There were no signs that Vergara was murdered, said Inspector Reynaldo Severino, Bago City deputy police chief.
Vergara was suffering from hypertension, according to his wife Leticia./PN
