IVISAN, Capiz – A private vehicle hit a 69-year-old man in Barangay Sta. Cruz on the night of March 27.
Felix Villanueva Fabale died.
The driver of the vehicle, on the other hand, was 47-year-old Rowen Robles Hendiren of Barangay Tabuc Suba, Jaro, Iloilo City.
Fabale suddenly cross the road and it was too late for Hendiren to step on the break, initial police investigation showed.
Fabale expired while being rushed to a hospital.
Hendiren turned himself in to the Ivisan police station. He vowed to help the Fabale family for the burial expenses./PN
