ILOILO City – A senior citizen crossing the national highway in Barangay Ungka II, Pavia, Iloilo got hit by a sport utility vehicle (SUV) around 1 p.m. on June 8.
The 61-year-old Albert Abatay of Parc Regency subdivision in Pavia was taken to St. Paul’s Hospital Iloilo.
A senior citizen was also driving the SUV – 80-year-old Greg Samson Montinola of Jaro, Iloilo City.
He could be facing a charge for reckless imprudence resulting in frustrated homicide should Abatay decide to take legal action against him, police said./PN
