BACOLOD City – Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested a senior citizen in a buy-bust operation in San Carlos City’s Barangay 5 in Negros Occidental on Friday afternoon, Dec. 23.
Suspect Roldan Alqueza, 60, a resident of the city’s Barangay 6, yielded a total of 80 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P544,000.
The agents also recovered the buy-bust money used in the operation.
According to PDEA-Western Visayas, they received a tip through their “Isumbong Mo Sa PDEA!” platform about Alqueza.
PDEA agents monitored the suspect’s activities for several weeks.
Alqueza is facing illegal drug charges, and he is currently detained at the San Carlos City Police Station./PN
