BACOLOD City – A 72-year-old man charged with malversation of public funds was arrested.
Francisco Grupe, a resident of Barangay 19 here, was served with a warrant of arrest by the Bago City police in Barangay Lag-asan, Bago City, Negros Occidental around 2:45 p.m. on March 21.
Judge Mary Jennifer Protasio Arches of the Regional Trial Court-Branch 62 issued the arrest warrant on March 16, 2023.
The court recommended a bail bond of P60,000 for Grupe’s temporary liberty./PN
