ILOILO – Uswag Ilonggo party-list, along with Gov. Arthur “Toto” Defensor Jr., has committed to extending its development initiatives from Western Visayas to the entire Region 12 in the coming years. This announcement was made during the 22nd South Cotabato Provincial Liga Congress, held from February 21 to 22 at the Iloilo Convention Center.
Rep. Jojo Ang, in a video message, expressed the party’s commitment to replicating its projects and programs in South Cotabato, a province that belongs to Region 12.
“Handom man naton nga makapalab-ot sa inyo – sa inyo mga tagsa-tagsa nga kabanwahanan dira sa South Cotabato, sa mga kabaranggayan naton – sang aton mga proyekto kag mga programa,” Ang said in his video message.
(We aspire to extend our projects and programs to every municipality and barangay in South Cotabato.)
Ang added: “Kung ano ang gina ubra naton diri sa inyo mga kasimanwa sa bilog nga Iloilo ukon sa bilog nga Western Visayas, kung kaluy-an sa dason nga mag tinu-ig, luyag man naton ubrahon dira sa bilog nga South Cotabato, ukon sa bilog Rehiyon 12.”
(What we have accomplished for the people of Iloilo and Western Visayas, we hope to bring to South Cotabato and the entire Region 12 in the coming years, if given the opportunity.)
Ang also welcomed delegates to Iloilo City, emphasizing that such gatherings enhance government practices and strengthen barangay leadership.
“Kanami gid kay may mga amo sini nga pagtipon-tipon para padayon ang pag-improve sang aton government practices kag mas madugangan pa gid naton ang aton kapasidad kag pagdumala sang aton mga tagsa-tagsa nga kabaranggayan. Ini tanan aton gin ubra para mag epektibo pa gid ang aton pagserbisyo sa mga pumuluyo naton,” the party-list solon added.
