ILOILO City – As if the arrest of a job hire at Iloilo City Hall for possession of P100,000-worth of shabu was not enough, a sex scandal rocked the office of one of the executive assistants on the seventh floor adjoining the office of Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog.
The male executive assistant and a contractual female subordinate were caught in the act of “doing” by a janitor on Thursday.
According to a Panay News source who used to be a city hall employee, it was the second time the two had been caught making love in the same venue.
The male employee is a married man who is close to some barangay captains in Iloilo City. He must have missed her because, before the controversy erupted, he had been absent for a month already.
She is reportedly a daughter of a former police officer.
On Wednesday night, on the other hand, Marbelito Cadiz of Brgy. Sto. Rosario Duran here was arrested after yielding 16 grams of shabu during the drug operation of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 6.
Cadiz had long been a suspected drug dealer and was in the target list of the PDEA.
This was confirmed by PDEA director Paul Ledesma.
Ledesma said Cadiz would personally bring the items during transactions involving huge amounts of illegal drugs but would leave small amounts of drugs for people working with him to peddle./PN
