ILOILO City – The No. 4 wanted person in the province of Iloilo accused of sexually abusing his two relatives was arrested on Tuesday in Barangay Duyan-duyan, Sta. Barbara, Iloilo.
The suspect, who was identified as a certain “Alejandro” of the said barangay, was arrested at 8 p.m. through an arrest warrant issued by Judge Gemalyn Faunillo-Tarol of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 76, for two counts of acts of lasciviousness and three counts of rape.
No bail bond has been recommended for Alejandro’s temporary liberty.
The suspect was also the No. 4 wanted person in the municipality of Badiangan, Iloilo.
According to Major Bonifacio Alabe of the Badiangan Police Station, the incidents happened in December 2023 in Barangay Botong.
Alabe said the suspect was arrested for two counts of acts of lasciviousness after he reportedly sexually molested his relative.
However, he was able to post bail.
“He was thinking na wala na sya kaso kay nakabayad na sya bailbond without knowing he is still racing another cases,” Alabe said.
“May uma bal-an ang suspect sa Barangay Botong amo na permi didto tapos gina hatagan nya candy ang seven-year-old nga bata hasta nag-file na ng kaso ang parents sang bata.”/PN
