BACOLOD City – Police arrested a drug suspect in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 4.
Four sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P240,000 and a sachet of dried marijuana leaves, seeds and stems valued around P333,660 were seized from29-year-old Nelson Medalla, police said.
Medalla – resident of Barangay 26 – was caught after he sold a sachet of suspected illegal drugs to an undercover cop around 2:30 a.m. on Sept. 4, the police added.
He was detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 3, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
