ILOILO City – Six sachets of suspected shabu were recovered in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Rizal, Jordan, Guimaras.
Resident John Alfred Lacson was caught after he sold suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer, police said.
Personnel of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Guimaras and Police Provincial Office staged the entrapment operation around 3 p.m. on July 9.
Lacson was detained in the lockup cell of Jordan municipal police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against him. (With a report from PDEA Region 6/PN)
